Baby care products that are "safe" or all natural  for your child do not have break the bank.  With the help of an excellent database, you can find natural, chemical free products that fit your budget.

As parents, we are concerned about what kind of chemicals are in the products we use on our children.  Many of the all natural or chemical free products are expensive.  Some diaper creams are as much as $18 an ounce.  The product is excellent, but most people cannot afford that for their kids on a daily basis.

With the help of an excellent database, Skin Deep, I found "low hazard" products that are affordable.  The organization, Environmental Working Group (EWG), rates baby products (along with a wide range of other personal care products), on their chemical contents.  If a product contains known hazardous chemicals, such as mercury or a dye, the EWG will use that information to rank the product. The database offers quick, reliable information on your every day baby products.  For example, for diaper rash cream, a low hazard product is Vaseline Diaper Rash Cream.  The Vaseline product is only about 31 cents an ounce, even when it is not on sale.  They give a wide array of options that range in price, but you can find inexpensive products that are good for your kids in almost every category.

Another find was in the baby soap catagory.  A low hazard product was Fa Face Body Soap.  It is only 35 cents an ounce or $1.43 for a bar.
