Here is a quick formula to help you calculate your savings.

Original Cost of the Item (include tax, and shipping, if applicable)

- Price you Paid (include tax, and shipping, if applicable)

= Total Savings

Total Savings/Original Cost of the Item = Total Percentage Saved

Staying On Budget

Set a budget for how much you can spend on clothes, games, and music.  Put that money (or fake notes if money is in the bank) in different envelopes marked with each category.  When you spend money for clothes, take that money out of the envelope.  When the money is gone, you cannot spend anymore on your credit card, or out of your bank account.

This might help you stay on budget with your spending.  It can also help you understand when and how much you are spending on a category.
