Recycling Value Information

The following 11 states give a cash refund for recyclables.  Each state has slightly different cash values assigned to different types of recycling.  Below is a summary of those values.

California

Beverages are defined as all drink containers except: Milk containers, Fruit juice containers greater than 46 oz., and Vegetable Juice containers greater than 16 oz.

Paper

The price per ton of paper is usually set by the individual recycling center.

Paper is defined as newspaper, magazines, catalogs, junk mail, and cardboard.
