Disney Highlights Plans to Improve Their Impact On the Environment

The Disney company has announced plans to reduce the amount of garbage generated by its parks and resorts by half by 2013.  It hopes to eventually eliminate garbage sent to landfills.

Also in the announced plan they will try to reduce the amount of electricity used by 10%, and reduce overall greenhouse emissions by one half.
