The Empire State Building in New York City is getting a makeover. Approximately $20 million will be spent to upgrade the facility to be more environmentally friendly.
The building will install 6,500 insulated windows that reduce summer heat load and winter heat loss. Other changes will be implemented including updating the lighting and ventilation systems, and installing extra installation.
